Im Artikel wird behauptet, dass ein längerer Flugurlaub besser wäre, weil man sonst bei einem Kurzurlaub noch restliche Urlaubszeit habe, in der man noch mehr fliegen würde.
Da ist ein entscheidender Fehler drin, der zeigt, wie die Tourismusindustrie bzw. die Tourismusforschung und irgendwie auch die tazler denken, die nicht widersprochen haben.
Wenn ich zwei Tage nach Texas fliege und danach den Resturlaub mit dem Fahrrad in Brandenburg verbringe, verbrauche ich weniger CO2, als wenn ich 14 Tage in Texas bleibe (Klimaanlagen, Hotelbetrieb, PKW-Nutzung).
Die Message muss sein: Fliegt überhaupt nicht! Nie! So, wie es Parncutt (2019) gesagt hat: Fliegen tötet. Es sollte nur noch für Notfälle geflogen werden (Rettung von Menschen).
